The Sustainable Scotland Network (SSN) is the network of sustainable development officers and advocates from Scotland’s 32 local authorities.
SSN’s core purpose is to support its members to improve local government performance on sustainability. We do this through: organising training and events, information sharing, and working in partnership with a range of organisations. SSN’s priority work areas are: climate change; local ecological and carbon footprinting; sustainable procurement; and Best Value and Single Outcome Agreements.
