Member: Karen Pilpel (Individual membership)
Karen was seconded as Sustainable Development Education Officer for South Lanarkshire Council (2008-2010). She promoted SDE as an integral part of wider citizenship curriculum with particular focus on Eco Schools and Schools Global Footprint Project. She has now returned to her role as Primary School Teacher and is determind to promote Sustainable Development as part of her curriculum with young pupils. She is very interested in any research or case studies available relating to this area of education.
